NIC Learner Attributes
Nile International Certificate (NIC) programs from KG- 12 aim to empower learners with values, knowledge, skills and attitudes that enable them to lead quality life and to compete locally, regionally and internationally.
World Citizen
NIC multilingual learners have the independence of spirit to explore new endeavors. They are open and willing to embrace different cultures. They are highly aware of global issues and sustainable development issues, challenges and goals. They harness technology to facilitate their interaction with the world.
Resilient
NIC learners set goals and persistently pursue them. They enjoy a positive mindset when facing adversities. They are autonomous and enjoy high level of self-efficacy. They enjoy an optimistic insight as they see opportunities in different challenges. They have grit and tenacity.
Inquisitive
NIC learners savor challenging tasks. They are always probing and speculative. They can seek and pursue knowledge using different resources. They are capable of finding the right source of information and eliminating the irrelevant ones. They strive to solve tomorrow's problems in today's classroom.
Self-Disciplined
NIC learners practice self-control which is a sign of inner strength and control of actions and reactions. They have the power to stand by their decisions and follow them. They are industrious and have the inner motivation to stay on track and do what they believe is right. They are trustworthy and dependable.
Entrepreneurial
NIC learners are willing to develop, organize business venture along with any of its risks in order to make a profit. They are able to start a new business being capable of setting long term vision to get closer to their ultimate goals. They learn to network, meet the right people and market their ideas in order to succeed in an ever changing and increasingly competitive global market. They can reflect on the process and plan for improvements.
Problem Solvers
NIC learners are analytical, creative and resourceful. They are able to define problems, withhold impulsive responses and to imagine and generate ranges of alternative solutions to any given problem. They can implement solutions and critically examine consequences. They can look beyond the obvious and make sensible understanding and judgment of various ideas and situations.

NIC learners lead governed lives structured by discipline and respect. They possess good manners and positive approaches towards their teachers, parents and community. They express their feelings and appreciate others' intellect. They relate to others considerately.

What is NIC
The Nile International Certificate (NIC)
Is an integrated K-12 trilingual system. It was designed and prepared in partnership with Cambridge Assessment International Education in accordance with evidence and research-based best practices. NIC was designed to be a pioneering system of education that prepares resilient, entrepreneurial, inquisitive. global citizens. NIC Unit is the entity responsible for operating NIC. NIC has two accredited certificates: CNIPE & CNISE.
NIC Pedagogy
The key principals of NIC pedagogy are the following:
